Marion Jones Stripped of 5 Medals

Marion Jones was stripped of 5 Olympic medals last month by the IOC (International Olympic Committee).

Marion Jones was THE star of the Sydney Olympic Games (in 2000), winning gold in 100m, 200m and the 4 x 400 meter relay. She also received two bronze medals in the 4 x 100 meter relay and the long jump.

She came under scrutiny of the IOC after revealing that she had been using a (prohibited) substance known as "the clear".

She has been banned from attending the 2008 Olympics in Beijing (in any capacity)...

There is also talk that the IOC will ban Marion Jones from all future Olympic Games.
